A little help with the hunt.

Choose photos or allow a photo-library scan. Review your cast, select the people and pets you want, and give them names. Allow cloud illustration if you want AI artwork. Missing character designs start drawing while you choose the scene, difficulty and page count. Start the book when your choices are ready.

Check Buddy Find’s Photos permission in iOS Settings. If you allow limited access, it can scan only those photos. You can add more allowed photos or choose individual photos in the app. Clear, well-lit pictures help the app find a familiar face or pet.

After cloud consent and cast confirmation, the app prepares missing character designs so the book has less work left to do. Existing designs are reused. Scene pages start only after you request the book. Returning to review a completed cast does not redraw it automatically.

Generation time varies with page count, connection and provider load. Character preparation and page drawing can overlap your time in the app, and pages are saved as they finish. This is not an instant or guaranteed-time service. Keep the app open during long generations.

Changing screens inside Buddy Find keeps the work running. iOS gives the app limited extra time when you leave it, and may suspend or terminate it. Completed pages are saved, but requests are not durable jobs that are guaranteed to continue after the app closes.

Check your connection and read the error first. Buddy Find checks the service before starting a batch and avoids automatically replaying ambiguous timeouts. Saved characters and completed pages remain available. If it is a service or authentication error, contact support with the message rather than repeatedly requesting drawings.

AI artwork can change likeness, anatomy or placement. Review the character design before generating the book; try clearer reference photos if needed. Pinch or double-tap to explore a page. Edit page lets you request a revised drawing, but it is another cloud request and a correct likeness or exact target count is not guaranteed.

Open the saved book and choose Share printable PDF. Save to Files, select a compatible printer, or choose a recipient in the iOS share sheet. Exported copies remain with that destination even if you later delete the app’s copy.

On the app’s introduction screen, open Review cloud photo sharing and choose Keep my photos on this device. This withdraws permission for new cloud work and attempts to cancel active tasks. It does not recall requests already received by the provider or erase their retained data. See the privacy policy for more information.

Delete individual books from their library menus. The reusable cast is stored separately. Deleting Buddy Find from iOS removes its local app data; offloading does not. Original Photos, exported PDFs and device backups need to be managed separately. Email us for help with cloud-processing privacy requests.

Buddy Find is currently in testing. This page introduces the app and provides support for test builds. A public download link will be added when the app is released.
